very one of us can remember what our childhood was like, the struggles
and challenges that each of us faced. So then each of us can imagine the
fear and confusion that can be brought into a child’s life by hunger
or by a medical problem that their parents cannot afford to help resolve.
Childhood is supposed to be about fun and learning and love. We want to
do all we can to make that a reality for as many children as we can, to
give them the happy childhood that we had, or that we would have wanted.
